<p>If you&#8217;ve been in the home business industry for any period of time, you know that we get paid for 2 things.</p>
<p><strong>#1.  Selling Stuff</strong></p>
<p><strong>#2.  Recruiting People</strong></p>
<p>Which is why my advice to you today may seem more than a little strange.  Here it is&#8230;</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;"><strong>STOP RECRUITING!</strong></h2>
<p>You heard me right (and no, I&#8217;m not crazy:)  Let me explain.</p>
<p>When a significant portion of your income is derived from recruiting new reps into your business, you start seeing people as numbers with little $$ before their names.  They&#8217;re not really people.  Just cattle to herd into your opportunity so you can move closer to achieving your goals and dreams.</p>
<p>Know what I mean?</p>
<p>But, this is messed up thinking!  We all (me included) need a constant reminder that this industry is <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>about helping others</strong></span>.</p>
<p>I think it was Zig Ziglar who said something like &#8220;If you help enough people get what they want, you&#8217;ll get what you want&#8221;.  But that&#8217;s not how this world works right?!  Has that been how you&#8217;ve been taught to succeed?</p>
<p>Is it really possible to take your eyes off yourself and focus on the needs of the people you talk to every day?  It is&#8230; and that&#8217;s why I want to shift our focus as an industry.  Away from &#8220;join my company so I can get what I want&#8221;.  To saying, &#8220;Let&#8217;s see if this would be a good fit for you.&#8221;</p>
<p>Now, I know this was not the <strong>MLM recruiting tips</strong> you were looking for.</p>
<p>And, you&#8217;re right&#8230; in the short term you can definitely make more money by trying to recruit every breathing thing you come across.  It&#8217;s true.  But is that the vibe you want in your business?</p>
<p>Not me.</p>
<p>I want to be known as the biggest giver on my team.  When I talk to a prospect on the phone, I want to focus on how I can help them achieve their goals and dreams.  I want to put the full weight of my marketing knowledge and skill to work for my team, not just for my own success.</p>
<p>I want to start helping, and stop merely &#8220;recruiting&#8221;.</p>
<p>This is not to say that I don&#8217;t have my own goals and dreams that I&#8217;m working towards.  I&#8217;m just saying that I am willing to work as hard towards your goals as you are.  If you are on my team that is.</p>
<p>I want to create a <a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cadre" target="_blank">cadre</a> of people who think and act like this.  Because I know this has the power to change not only peoples finances, but more importantly their lives.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ll warn you, this isn&#8217;t for wimps.  This is for men and women who want to live life with purpose.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For most new people, it often seems confusing, trying to decide where to go and what steps they should take to grow their business.  SHOCKING as that may be considering we have a proven <em><strong>Postcard Recruiting System</strong></em>&#8230;reps still feel the need to complicate this process.</p>
<p>Have you ever done that?  I have <img src='http://www.secretrecruitingmethod.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Most people fall into one of the following categories:</p>
<p><strong>The first category</strong> is the person who is looking for the NEXT big thing to grow their business.  They bought a share of our team marketing co-op, they mailed out postcards, they bought drop cards to hand out, they got an email about some other training course online, so they bought that.  They want to learn to market on Facebook and Twitter, so they are looking for training on that.  They want to redesign part of the sales funnel&#8230;and so on.  This type of person is heading in a million directions all at once.  Many of the things they are trying are good, but they are suffering from a lack of FOCUS.</p>
<p><strong>The second category</strong> of person is the type that can’t make up their mind about what to do&#8230;so they do nothing.  They might try the co-op, but they might not.  They might mail out some postcards, but they might not.  They suffer from a lack of ACTION.</p>
<p>So, what does work?  Where is the happy medium?</p>
<p>The secret to consistently recruiting new reps into your organization each and every month is as simple as this:  Focus and Action.</p>
<p>Let me explain.</p>
<p>With our marketing system, we’ve taken the hassle out of “How do I get leads for my <strong>mlm business</strong>?”  So what new reps need to do is simply pick a marketing method and put all they can into it.</p>
<p>If that’s postcards, then have a goal of investing in this marketing each month&#8230;and increasing the amount of postcards you mail out each month as you can afford to do so.  Take a portion of the commission you generate from new reps joining your team and reinvest it in your business in the form of marketing.</p>
<p>Simply FOCUS on one or two forms of marketing, and take bigger and more ACTION until it’s consistently recruiting new reps into your business every day.</p>
<p>I know I’m harping on this here, but I want to make sure you understand this&#8230;the only difference between you and a top income earner in this industry is FOCUS and ACTION.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Most network marketers spend all their time trying to generate leads, that they never get to move on to the next step, which is where the fun really begins.</p>
<p><strong>WARNING:</strong>  If you are buying cold dead-end leads online, much of what I’m going to tell you here will not work for you.  You’re going to have to overcome more objections and deal with more rejection on a scale that makes me shudder to imagine.  If you are still putting yourself through that kind of torture, stop what you’re doing right now and watch this video&#8230;there is a better way to grow your business.</p>
<p>You see, with our marketing system we weed out all of the “Is this a pyramid scheme?” or “Oh, it actually costs money to join?”, kind of people.</p>
<p>Using our Postcard Recruiting System, our team members only talk to highly motivated, excited prospects who just need to ask a few questions before they join.  We don’t have to deal with constant rejection.  Which is may be very different than what you’re used to.</p>
<p>So, my <strong>mlm phone scripts</strong> are actually quite simple and straight forward.</p>
<p>Here are my suggestions for calling back your leads (regardless of if they came from postcards or the team marketing co-op):</p>
<p>First of all, call them back as quickly as possible.</p>
<p>If you get their voicemail, leave a message saying, “Hey, this is (your name), I saw you took the time to watch our webinar about (company name) and I am just giving you a call to let you know there is a real person behind the website. If I can help you in any way, give me a call at  (your phone number).”</p>
<p>NOTE:  If they want to give you a call back, they will.  If they don’t, they won’t&#8230;it’s as simple as that.</p>
<p>If they pick up say, “Hey, is this (prospect name)?  Hey this is (your name), I saw you took the time to watch our webinar about (company name) and just want to give you call to see what you thought about the opportunity.  What did you like best about what you saw?</p>
<p>Remember, you’re not trying to talk them into joining your company.  You’re just using the phone as a filter to find the ones who are interested.  Every phone call that you make is a successful one.</p>
<p>Working with prospects who are excited about your opportunity is a much better way to grow a network marketing business.</p>
